About the organization
The mission of Santa Fe Habitat for Humanity is to promote affordable home ownership for Santa Fe area residents by constructing simple, adequate, and energy efficient new homes and repairing or rehabilitating existing homes through the cooperative efforts of partner families, volunteers, donors, and staff.
Summary: The DVFS is responsible for directing the volunteer and family services programs of Santa Fe Habitat for Humanity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Recruit, orient and schedule volunteers, oversee and maintain volunteer database and work closely with staff to create volunteer recognition activities.
Ensure committee communication, maintain contact with families and potential homeowners, provide on-going training, attend neighborhood meetings, invite neighbors to ground breakings/dedications as well as creating new opportunities
Oversee and manage AmeriCorps programs and members
Records and Report Management
Continually update and manage volunteer database while assisting volunteers in maintaining family information
Participation in Training and Development Activities
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mission, policy and procedures; attend training while staying abreast of development trends

-Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
Must be extremely well organized
Must have the ability to work and maintain delicate personal/financial information
Must have experience with good presentation skills, both written and oral (for one-on-one and in group settings) for engagement with families in both English and Spanish
Must have proficiency with all Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, Power Point)
