Project Access, a 501(c)(3) founded in 1999, provides on-site health, education, and employment services to over 20,000 children, families, and seniors living in affordable housing and work force affordable neighborhoods across the country. Project Access Resource Centers are embedded into the fabric of the community as a physical presence on-site, in residents’ own backyards, thereby eliminating the geographical barrier of access to social services. Duties

POSITION SUMMARY: Project Access, a quickly growing residents services nonprofit, seeks a Director of Social Impact who will work with senior leaders of the organization to drive positive change across the business and within our local communities. Work closely and collaborate with a range of departments to oversee the measurement of social impact and consistent progress across the business. Develop and recommend surveys, and tools to measure ongoing success. Provide monitoring, evaluation, strategic planning, and capacity building services to advance development effectiveness. We seek to demonstrate value to our stakeholders by demonstrating impact and to be more effective at improving people's lives.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in related social science preferred; BA/BS required
• Five plus years of experience in research, measurement, and evaluation
• Interest and expertise in working collaboratively with colleagues across various departments with varied backgrounds
• Solutions-oriented; eager for ongoing learning and self-improvement in the role
• Demonstrated track record of evaluation design and management for a growing
nonprofit
• Demonstrated success turning impact data into meaningful stories for an organization
Skills
• Familiarity with the scope, utility, and implementation of various evaluation methodologies (including surveying)
• Advanced Excel skills, especially working with formulas and large quantities of data
• Experience working with data management software and/or new technology a plus
• Excellent ability to analyze data and draw out learnings and implications
• Strong attention to detail, ability to take initiative, self-starter
• Ability to proactively identify and creatively solve problems
• Solutions-oriented; eager for ongoing learning and self-improvement in the role
• Successful completion of background check
• The physical activity of this position includes sitting for long periods of time, minimal lifting, bending, walking, kneeling, reaching, and step climbing
