The Director of Safety and Security, in consultation with the Human Resources and Finance Departments, will ensure that AFSC staff have safety and security-related resources, benefits, services, and support as needed and/or in accordance with duty of care best practices. The Director of Safety and Security, with the support of the Deputy General Secretary, will be responsible for leading discussions and providing information to the AFSC Security Steering Committee and providing training, guidance, and/or safety and security-related updates to AFSC’s Security Focal Points. The Director of Safety and Security is also expected to serve as the primary point of contact for any security consultants, trainers, service providers, and questions and concerns regarding safety and security from AFSC personnel.

4-5 years related experience. This position requires proven project management skills including research, planning, organizing, training, developing, and participating in and/or leading cross functional teams (i.e.: projects with Finance, Human Resources, Communications, Information Technology, and Development). This role requires collaboration, someone who is a team player who leads by example and with integrity, and builds credibility.
Salary Range starts at $71,151
