Finding a good healthcare provider is hard. Finding one when you’re LGBTQ+ is even harder. Too often, our health depends on our ability to self-advocate. To read between the lines of lengthy benefits documents, or uncomfortably ask our employer about policies for LGBTQ+ family planning or gender-affirming care coverage, or even navigate being an employee out at work when we’d really rather not jump over one more hurdle. It’s a system that wasn’t designed to care for our bodies and our lives. Finding culturally competent, affirming providers and navigating the healthcare system isn’t impossible. But it is exhausting. What You’ll Do:
Organize and maintain communications, including contracts and projects, with external partners
Coordinate across legal, compliance, contracts, procurement and vendor management
Create and maintain custom dashboards and business intelligence tools for ongoing visibility into key business priorities, metrics and tracking
Partner with CEO to ensure all budgeting processes are comprehensive, invoices are paid on time, and contractual agreements are met
Oversee payroll operations and the administration of Included Health’s HRIS system
Help to build Included Health’s suite of internal tools and programs to enable a great employee and customer experience
8+ years experience scaling operations in a B2B high growth start up, with either direct oversight or close working knowledge of the finance, legal, compliance and procurement processes
Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously and developing processes and systems that scale
Analytical and process-oriented with exceptional attention to detail; able to manage large, complex projects
Proficient in leveraging Google Suite and other business intelligence tools for financial reporting and data analysis
Passionate about operating with a customer-centric mindset in all aspects of work, from who we choose to work with on the vendor side to how we approach contracting and partnerships with potential customers
Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
A strong desire and drive to operate in an ever-changing environment, to get your hands dirty, and build a company that will change the lives of millions

Who You Are:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Director of Business Operations. As our first business operations hire, you will work directly with the CEO to build the core business infrastructure to enable Included Health to scale exponentially. You will have experience building reports and dashboards, managing finance and legal, working with technology vendors, and overseeing the Included Health compliance and procurement processes. Over time, you will build our Operations team at Included Health. You will be passionate about our mission, an inspiring leader and communicator, a self-starter with a bias for action, and committed to building not only Included Health’s infrastructure, but also our organization from a cultural perspective.
