About the organization

TCE Fund’s mission is to engage people and communities through face-to-face public education, grassroots organizing and action-oriented research for a cleaner and healthier Texas. TCE is the state’s leading canvass-based environmental advocacy group, directly influencing public policy through community-based lobbying. Both organizations lead local, statewide and national issue campaigns to fight pollution, especially fossil fuel facilities that harm communities and worsen climate pollution. TCE Fund and TCE promote clean economy solutions such as Zero Waste and renewable energy.

Duties

TCE Fund is seeking a person to join our team to guide our efforts in connecting digital advocacy with on-the-ground organizing. This is a key position that will help launch new and innovative projects to support our campaigns.

The person in this role will be part of a team transitioning methodologies, testing new strategies, and working with staff and volunteers to execute new ideas. Specific job responsibilities will include digital campaign development and management, designing models for volunteer engagements, and supporting canvass staff development. The Digital Director will regularly interact with directors and other staff to collaborate on messaging, campaign strategy, and organizational best practices.

Qualifications

Digital Campaign Design and Management - research, design, and test new outreach methods and volunteer models in order to support campaign strategies and tactics at the local, state, and federal levels.
Support Canvass Staff Development - assist the local program and canvass staff in training field organizers i
Support Community Engagement - Support local program and canvass staff efforts to engage supporters to participate in volunteer efforts such as reaching out to others in the community, participating in public meetings or demonstrations.
Coalition Participation - Participate with allies and volunteers in coalitions on shared campaign objectives. Actively engage in meetings and volunteer to initiate and complete projects and tasks. Maintain active relationships with external partners to help leverage more power.
Fundraising - Help the organization raise money by participating in scheduled statewide and regional fundraising events
External Communications - Collaborate with allies and TCE Fund staff to execute traditional and social media strategies to build power and shape the public narrative on our campaigns.

$56,000-70,000
