Duties
Assist the Director in the administration of the organization with primary responsible for: management of staff; working with bookkeeper to monitor income from grants and donations and expenditure for grants and programs as well as compensation to consultants; grant writing; securing donations; and sustaining and building strategic partnerships with our local partners as well as other NGO and potential funders.
Qualifications
MD, preferable OB/GYN or pediatrician, or Ph.D. with at least ten years of experience in LMIC including in sub-Saharan Africa;
MPH with experience in other NGOs preferred;
Experience with: vulnerable women and their children; successful collaboration with local NGOs, INGOs, governments, and funders; history of securing grants and donation; experience with grant management and supervising staff; advocacy; and public speaking;
Must be willing to travel and work in LMIC under potentially challenging conditions; and
Good communication skills
Note: this is a full-time position however, we are also very interested in discussing options for a part-time position to eventually transition into a FT position

This is a volunteer position as we currently do not have funding. The need for experience with grant writing and securing donations underscores the need to raise funds for this position and other staff positions as well as for our research and programs.
