North Country HealthCare is a federally qualified health center (FQHC) serving 12 communities across the entire northern half of Arizona. This full-time position is located in Williams, Ariz., just 55 miles from Grand Canyon National Park! Williams is a rural, mountain town with plenty of hiking, fishing, and beautiful vistas to enjoy year-round.

Providing dental prophylaxis and scaling and root planning of teeth and gingival tissue curettage. Applying topical fluorides and dental sealants.
Providing oral health education to patients in the clinic and in community outreach settings.
Taking and developing dental radiographs
Administering anesthesia, placing periodontal dressings, and placing and removing sutures all under the direct supervision of a dentist.
Performing oral health screenings, in collaboration with medical providers, in a group setting (school children, company employees, etc.)
Traveling as necessary to meet needs at other North Country HealthCare clinics or to represent North Country HealthCare at important meetings.
Actively participating in the achievement of short and long-term goals for the dental department and clinic.
Mentoring the next generation of dental hygiene professionals. North Country HealthCare is a teaching health center and dental hygienists can expect to be involved in the teaching of students.

Certificate of completion from accredited Dental Hygiene Program
Current Arizona license to practice dental hygiene (or ability to obtain one upon hire)
Preference given to those with a completed college degree in dental hygiene from an accredited university
