Chemonics seeks a Data Visualization Programmer, Supply Chain - Facility-level AIDS Commodity Tracking (SC-FACT), who will provide support to the Global Health Supply Chain - Procurement Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project to ensure effective HIV/AIDS commodity tracking in order to have a secured supply of the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)-approved products. Specifically, the Data Visualization Programmer Level 1 will carry out activities to visualize data on web-based platforms and mobile application in support of the SC-FACT initiative. These activities focus on data management for the GHSC-PSM Service Distribution Point (SDP) level stock data in 17 countries and more than 14,000 health facilities. The Data Visualization Programmer Level 1 willsupport JavaScript, FrontEnd, and mobile application development as well as able to carry out analytics using open source tools such as Python, MS Excel, and MS Excel Visual Basic (VBA).We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.

The Global Health Supply Chain Program - Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project is the primary vehicle through which USAID: 1) procures and provides health commodities; 2) provides technical assistance to improve partner countries’ management of the supply chain; and 3) collaborates with key international stakeholders to support global health initiatives



•Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a relevant field

•Minimum 2 years of mobile application development with iOS and/or Android OS experience required

•Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with C#, .NET, Front-end development, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, D3.js, dc.js, SQL, Pandas or similar programming languages required

•Excellent design, coding, testing, problem solving, and debugging skills

•Understanding SQL query language and reporting tools desired

•Web Programming and knowledge of Object-Oriented design desired

•Experience with application development, unit testing and iterative or agile development methodology desired

•Demonstrated understanding of information systems, business processes, the key drivers and measures of success for the business

•Experience in developing applications that utilize Microsoft SQL server desired

•Ability to analyze and develop data visualizations, and presentations to the client and other external stakeholders

•Experience with statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, and R

•Experience working in large data management in developing country settings desirable

•Ability to work both independently and as part of a team required, with experience in an organization working across multiple teams highly preferred

•Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communications skills
