We are hiring for positions under the Global Health Training, Advisory, Support Contract (GHTASC) in support of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Bureau for Global Health (GH). These roles deliver institutional support services in a wide range of technical areas at the junior, mid-, senior, and expert levels.

Duties

The Data Analyst provides strategic information analytic support to ETD. The Data Analyst utilizes statistical approaches and software programs to conduct analyses and visualization to inform GHS monitoring, reporting, budgeting, and data application for learning, adaptation and communications products. The Data Analyst provides technical support for the application of GHS data analysis and visualization to improve use of financial and program data to assess program performance, promote efficiencies, optimize resources, and communicate progress to internal and external audiences. The Data Analyst compiles and organizes epidemiologic, programmatic, and budgetary data for a variety of products aimed at a diverse audience, including USAID, external partners, and the public.

Qualifications

*Master’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience, Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience, Associate’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma and 10 years of relevant experience.
*US Citizenship or US Permanent Residency with the ability to obtain and maintain a Facility Access clearance is required. For Permanent Residents, this means having resided in the US for at least 3 of the past 5 years.
*Demonstrated experience in management and analysis of programmatic data streams, development of reports and data visualizations, and/or contribution to the design and development of a data management system.
*Experience in statistical analysis, data pipelines, and use of statistical computer programs to manipulate data and draw insights from large datasets.
*Experience in deploying dashboards, using statistical software (ex: R, Tableau) and employing data visualization tools (ex: Excel, Tableau).
*Ability to develop and deploy scripts based on requirements provided by technical subject matter expert requests preferred. This may include data visualizations, text document scraping, and/or advanced predictive and text statistical modeling and analysis.
*Working knowledge of the Azure cloud environment, including experience with Azure storage options and analytics services preferred.
*Experience with USAID IT platforms Phoenix, DIS, G-Invoicing, and/or Tableau preferred.

Salary

Full salary range for this position is $78,780 to $124,540 per year, with the starting salary determined based on candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, as well as budget availability.
