CVPA Field Director Pennsylvania

The Outreach Team

About the organization

The Outreach Team is a field firm specializing in face-to-face canvassing operations.

Duties

We are currently seeking Field Directors to join us on an important and exciting campaign to help Conservation Voters of Pennsylvania (CVPA) contact targeted voters in Metro Philadelphia. We are hiring for multiple Deputy Director positions working out of Chester County.

CVPA is the statewide political voice for the environment. We will be speaking with voters about the most pressing challenges they face right now, how they are faring through the pandemic, and what issues matter to them most. Our work on this campaign will be critical in shaping electoral strategy for next year's midterm elections, and it will help to hone CVPA's environmental policy priorities across the state. This is a unique opportunity to listen to voters' concerns and check in on the community after a difficult year.

Field Directors will recruit, train, and manage a team of local canvassers to speak face-to-face with voters in Chester County.

COVID-19 has altered the political landscape, but one thing remains the same - we will need to have in-person conversations with people to understand the issues that matter to them and what they are looking for from their elected leaders. Thankfully, we can do this in a way that is low risk. We will provide PPE and substantial health and safety training, we will work outside, and we will all follow the canvassing protocols that will allow us to do this critical work while keeping ourselves and everyone else in our communities safe.
