Duties

The Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corporation (WWBIC) is a leading, not-for-profit economic development corporation that’s “Putting Dreams to Work.” Our focus is to positively impact the lives of women, people of color and low income individuals by providing quality business education, business loans and access to fair & responsible capital, one-on-one business coaching, and personal money management education and tools. Since 1987, WWBIC has lent more than $60 million in micro/small business loans and helped launch or expand 6,200 businesses. We are currently recruiting for an individual to support our mission in the following capacity.

This part–time 20 hours/week) limited term (through 12/2021) position is responsible for producing approved loans and coordinating and expanding WWBIC’s small business and micro lending programs.

The Analyst will underwrite loan applications and present comprehensive loan packages with sound financial projections for approval. They will work closely with our clients during the loan intake and underwriting process to monitor process, collect data & documentation and identify business assistance needs.

Qualifications

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in commercial banking, under writing or accoutning. Strong written and verbal communication skills & Microsoft Office skills are needed. Familiarity with small business financing and loan servicing software is desired. Must be able to work with a diverse community and work occasional evening or weekend hours. Valid drivers license and proof of insurance is required for local travel.
