Chemonics seeks a Corporate Finance Associate for its Operations, Finance, and Compliance Division (OFC) within the Global Health Supply Chain Office (GHSCO), located in Arlington, VA. The Corporate Finance Associate supports the GHSCO’s financial requirements, management, and administration and performs tasks related to new business, technical capacity, and management. The GHSCO Finance Team looks at overall financial performance and supports leadership in financial management of GHSCO. The team works closely with billable and multi-award task order finance teams in complex reporting and task order management of both technical assistance and commodities. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.

Responsibilities include:

•Support in the development of budgets at the corporate and project level

•Take direct, appropriate, and timely action to meet regional needs and resolve basic finance-related issues

•Provide guidance to staff to ensure accurate financial deliverables

•Train GHSCO staff in financial management topics and financial analysis tools

•Provide support in the development of analytical models and performs different types of financial analysis to enhance the decision making process of the GHSCO management team

•Provide support in updating monthly financial dashboards to assist country program teams in analyzing monthly performance



•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required

•Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience with ability to handle routine tasks and operational issues

•Excellent numerical and analytical skills required

•Demonstrated knowledge of USAID allowances, USAID regulations and policy as applied to project offices preferred

•Strong record keeping skills, spreadsheet, word processing abilities, knowledge of MS Office applications, and attention to detail

•Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely orally and in writing

•Willingness to travel and work abroad a minimum of 4 to 8 weeks per year; experience living or working in developing countries preferred

•Strong administrative skills, word processing abilities, and attention to detail

•Demonstrated ability to follow standard practices and procedures, receive general instruction and supervision on work progress, and make significant contribution to end results

•Able to work on one or more projects and provide support to proposals

•Able to work independently and as part of a team

•Demonstrated resourcefulness in problem-solving and initiative to learn new skills

•Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity

•Fluency in English required
