Duties

If you love being outside, working with people, and leading events, the Community Playground Build Manager position at KABOOM! just might be what you have been looking for.

Community Playground Build Managers are critical to the KABOOM! mission. They travel across the country leading inspiring playground build events in partnership with community and funding partner volunteers. Each playground project starts as a flat, empty surface and is transformed into an exciting, new playspace for kids to enjoy in just one day! Community Playground Build Managers are the on-site leaders of this transformation.

Must Haves

Experience managing volunteers
Event or project management
Flexible and adaptive problem-solving skills

This is a market-based position so the candidate must reside in the Bethesda, Maryland area.

Qualifications

1-3 years of project/event management volunteer or work experience preferred
Ability to travel up to 60% of the time during certain months (to include some weekends) required
Valid U.S. driver’s license and good driving record required

Salary

$50,000 -$55,000
