About the organization

Full Plates Full Potential is a statewide nonprofit organization on a mission to end child hunger in Maine by partnering with schools and communities to create sustainable systems change through investment and advocacy. Since 2016, our work has involved strengthening and expanding the reach of child nutrition programs through technical and financial assistance directly to schools and community organizations to help feed kids now, while advocating for the systemic changes necessary to ensure that all Maine’s kids have consistent access to nutritious meals. Our work involves deep partnerships and collaboration with state and national organizations and state government and agencies.

Our office is in downtown Brunswick, Maine, with the option of working remotely or in-person.

This position contributes to Maine’s goal of ending hunger in ME by 2030 as part of Ending Hunger Corps, a 25-member cohort model VISTA program: https://www.maine.gov/dacf/about/commissioners/endhunger/
