Duties

Who You Are - Role

We are looking for an experienced communications specialist to join our growing Strategic Communications Team. You are an energetic storyteller who has an interest in sustainability at a neighborhood, city, and global scale. You have a proven track record of delivering interesting material that piques client interest. You have experience executing integrated communications plans both inside and outside your department and building positive working relationships firmwide.

What You Will Work On – Duties

Collaborate on the development of multiplatform thought leadership material that positions our building design and sustainability experts as industry innovators (e.g. articles, videos, presentations, webinars, etc).
Coordinating with our Business Development team to develop quarterly and yearly editorial plans.
Collaborate on the development and execution of social media campaigns.
Edit and assist in the maintenance of our library of qualifications materials (project sheets, staff resumes, qualifications packages, etc).
Assist project teams with graphic development
Assist Business Development on project bidding preparation
All duties as related to the qualifications
Who You Will Work With – Report to and Collaboration

This position will report to the Strategic Marketing & Communications Manager
You will be a member of our growing, integrated Marketing and Business Development Team
You will interface regularly with design experts and corporate leadership

Qualifications

What You Bring – Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, PR, English, Communications, or related subject area
1-4 years of experience in corporate, agency, and/or public relations roles targeting a broad audience.
Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
(Required: InDesign. Strongly desired: Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro)
Demonstrated experience using social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc, in a corporate capacity.
A passion for sustainability and the environment.
The ability to identify and tell great stories.
Experience working in a web content management system (Wordpress, Joomla, custom, etc).
An interest in learning and synthesizing complex material for communication across a broad audience.
A knowledge of the A/E/C Industry is a plus.
Strong Storyteller ability to communicate what our engineers do in an interesting way.
“Pull art of our work” into communication for our audiences.
Experience working with Subject Matter Experts to communicate information – in the AEC as a plus.
