Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level.
Under the supervision of a Professional Engineer the Civil Engineering Technician (CET) is expected to perform a broad range of technical engineering functions in support of project construction and maintenance as developed for the Annual Work Plan.
Plan, coordinate, and work with other engineering staff and resource specialists in identifying, developing, and determining engineering feasibility of projects in support of resource activities.
Conduct and prepare designs and specifications for the required capacity, size, location, materials, and methods to be used in roads, trails, pipelines, minor dams, reservoirs, fences, drainage structures, and recreation projects.
Prepare material necessary to develop construction, supply, service, rehabilitation and timber sale contracts, which includes site plans, engineering drawings, specifications, location maps, cost estimates, labor, equipment, and supply requirements.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required specialized experience and/or education for the respective grade level in which you are applying:
