This USAID-funded activity will provide expert consultancy services to the USAID Bureau of Resilience and Food Security (RFS) for building the monitoring, evaluation, reporting and learning (MERL) capacity of RFS staff to efficiently and effectively apply findings and report contributions from the centrally-funded RFS portfolio to a diverse array of stakeholders notably, the U.S. Congress and the public. The RFS Bureau supports developing countries to strengthen inclusive agriculture-led growth; resilience; nutrition; and water security, sanitation and hygiene programs and policies.
Advanced degree in related field and at least 10 years of experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL);
Experience developing and managing evaluations, monitoring systems, and/or conducting social science research;
Experience analyzing quantitative and qualitative performance data;
Familiarity in working with an international development organization and knowledge of reporting procedures, best practices, guidelines, and tools for monitoring and evaluation;
Relevant computer software skills with proficiency in Excel; and
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
