As a/an Budget Analyst, you will:

Take the lead in assigned duties related to the formulation, presentation, execution and analysis of all Treasury Enterprise Services budget requirements.
Develop expert advice and guidance to budget program officials on the preparation of budget estimates and critiques data prior to submission.
Prepare formal consolidated budget forecasts and reports on budget execution required by OMB, Treasury, and authorities delegated throughout the Department of the Treasury.
Serve in an advisory role in the development of staff instruction and/or standard operating procedures.


Specialized experience is defined as:

- Executing budget and/or formulation needs for a customer organization; AND
- Independently performing review and analysis of budget information;
- Preparing and presenting budget justifications and findings to senior management AND
- Performing review and analysis of budget information.

You may substitute education for specialized experience as follows:
- A master's or equivalent graduate degree; OR
- 2 full years of progressively higher- level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related
