Duties
The purpose of this position is to serve as the Budget Analyst within the Deputy Assistant Secretary
(DAS) for Management and Budget. The incumbent takes a leading role in budget planning, formulation,
execution and expensing to clients of services within the framework of the budget authority (ies) for the
portfolios assigned to them. The incumbent will be responsible for utilization of an integrated Financial
System and the timely reporting of expenses of all Treasury Enterprise Services.
The candidate at the full performance level will:
-Take the lead in assigned duties related to the formulation, presentation, execution and analysis of all
Treasury Enterprise Services budget requirements.
-Advise management of the time phasing of budget plans, acquisitions and use of funds to coincide with
payments to contractors for milestone completion in the areas of development, procurement or
modification of systems.
-Recommend changes in systems design and functionality including data entry, report and budget
formulation modules.
-Serve in an advisory role in the development of staff instruction and/or standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
Executing budgets according to the budget cycle; AND
-Experience with customers to provide customer service with a financial management focus; AND
-Experience working in a team environment, gathering, organizing, and analyzing financial program data
such as spending, travel, and procurement.

OR you may substitute education for specialized experience as follows:
- a master's or equivalent graduate degree; OR
- 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if
related; OR
- have a combination of specialized experience and graduate level education. Only graduate level
education in excess of the first year may be used as qualifying when combining education and
experience.

$59,534 - 133,465
