Duties

The Bilingual Clinician will conduct mental health assessments and provide ongoing individual, and group counseling services, screen for trauma and human trafficking, and crisis intervention services. He/she will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, other clinicians and Mental Health Workers to maintain a therapeutic and emotionally healing environment and establish treatment goals and assist in the implementation of the individualized treatment plan. He/she will complete all required Short-term Shelter program documentation in a timely manner and to designated quality standards. He/she carries a caseload of no more than 12 children.

Qualifications

Minimum of a master’s degree in social work with clinical experience in the program OR master’s degree in psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science in which direct clinical experience is a program requirement OR a bachelor’s degree plus 5 years clinical employment experience

Licensed or eligible for licensure in Colorado ( LPC, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW)

Experience with children or adolescents in residential or inpatient setting

Bilingual in English/Spanish

Must be able to complete and provide proof of current influenza vaccination

Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children.
