TLC International School is a small international school started by an RPVC in 2006. The school is run by an RPCV with staff from 14 countries. The majority of the students are from Mauritania, but there are students from 22 countries. Over 90% of the students are nonnative English speakers. TLC was established to fill the need for a quality, affordable education in Nouakchott, Mauritania. TLC is a close knit community that offers a high quality education for a fraction of the cost of other international schools.

Duties

This position is as an Assistant Director for PS-12 school with about 200 students. The Assistant Director will work with the Director to discipline students, supervise staff, conduct staff observations and trainings, meet with parents and help enrich the curriculum. In addition, they will work with the high school students and their families to assist in the high school admissions process.

Qualifications

Applicants must have a background in education as well as experience in counseling and administration or a degree in a related field. Applicants must be hardworking, team players, with a growth mindset and excellent references.

Salary

$33,000/year, round trip airfare, $1,500 moving in allowance, SOS Insurance, partially furnished housing, utilities
