We do this through personalized Employment Services, Social Enterprises (Business Solutions) which provide employment for those needing supported employment, and Individual and Community Services like providing free laundry with the Laundry Truck and support in finding housing and accessing different resource programs through the help of our Navigators.
The DDW Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the DDW Program Manager in planning, assigning, and supervising programmatic work/training. The DDW Assistant Manager will maintain a navigation/case management caseload of participants in Tier 2 sites (Fleet/DHS/Mobile Services, etc.) and will assist and support Field Leads with navigation queries, as needed. The Assistant Manager will be onsite support for Denver Day Works daily crews, working outside in the field regularly with staff and participants. The Assistant Manager will also take the lead in organizing daily sign-in sheets for DDW and preparing cash payments to participants. The Assistant Manager will complete and submit bi-weekly payroll to accounting at the end of each pay period. The Assistant Manager will also work with the DDW administrative assistant to complete payroll set up for participants in the Paycom system before their first worked day. The Assistant Manager provides support to the Program Manager of DDW as requested. Work is performed under general supervision of the Bayaud DDW Program Manager.
Assist the Program Manager of DDW as directed.
Represent Bayaud Enterprises professionally with participants, partner service providers, City partners and general public.
Use a trauma informed approach when offering support to participants.
Interface with HOST contract manager on all new and existing task orders related to DDW.
Explore new options for contracting with the City Departments /BIDs/Private entities, etc. in order to keep expanding options for our folks in Bayaud programming within each department.
Engage community members about broader Bayaud services.
Lead Outreach and Orientation efforts; assist with new ideas to make these items more accessible to our participants.
Provide supervision and guidance for up Tier 2 transitional participant employees who face hurdles to permanent employment.
Effectively manage multiple, concurrent, sties and participants around the Denver-Metro area.
Work outdoors in all-weather conditions, year-round.
Complete all documentation and data entry in a timely manner.
Assist staff as needed in use of ELMO and perform quality checks at least quarterly
Support logistical aspects of the program including cash payments, work log submissions, training of participants in use of Paycom.
Clear, efficient, transparent communication skills (oral and written).
Practice excellent interpersonal dynamics, solid team collaboration, and conflict resolution.
