Arizona Sere is an AmeriCorps program of Prescott College. Our mission is to connect passionate people with transformative community projects to fight poverty.

A. Financial Education Program
● Review program design and work with team to help develop phases
needed for piloting of expanded program offerings
● Assist in designing evaluation criteria for financial education
program. Work with team to develop appropriate impacts and
metrics. Evaluate impacts and metris to help inform Phase 2.
● Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures to ensure
success of Phase 2 of program implementation
● Assist with administration and facilitation of all aspects of the
financial education program as identified by timeline

B. Housing Counseling Education Program
● Research/evaluate/assist in developing and implementing online
and in-person group education classes
● Assist with emergency assistance programs, providing basic and
intermediate level information, reviewing qualifications for program,
updating tracking system

C. Outreach
● Participant/client and volunteer outreach for program opportunities
and general information
● Develop strategy and conduct targeted client/participant outreach
for minority and other specifically designated low-income areas,

● Develop mechanisms for collecting participant stories/photos,
● expand education programs recruiting and utilizing skilled volunteer


18 years or older, no upper age limit. All ages are welcome and
encouraged to apply
● Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, and
Internet-based communications
● Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team setting in
a consistent, energetic, positive manner
● Strong organizational and time management skills
● Ability to be flexible and work well in a variety of situations
● Effective problem-solving skills
● Ability and desire to work with diverse community members
● Friendly and effective interpersonal skills
● Access to reliable transportation
● Bilingual English/Spanish a plus


$8,471 for 8 months of service
