About the organization
Montana Campus Compact (MTCC) serves as the intermediary for this project. MTCC is a CEO-led coalition of colleges and universities that support civic engagement, service learning, and volunteerism across the state. Every year we place cohorts of full-time, part-time, and summer AmeriCorps members with schools, colleges, nonprofits, and government agencies in Montana. The AmeriCorps projects we facilitate increase educational equity, break down barriers between higher education and community organizations, and address the root causes of poverty in communities across the state.
Position Summary: Funded in part by the Small Business Administration, the Women’s Entrepreneurship and Leadership Lab (WELL) builds educational, experiential, and entrepreneurial programs that enable Montana women to create more equitable, prosperous, and collaborative futures for all. In this position, you will build capacity by assisting the WELL online community specialist in creating a robust and valuable online forum for women entrepreneurs. You will have opportunities to create online content, host virtual events, and support fundraising and grant writing initiatives. Apply Today!
Must be at least 18 years old.
Bachelor’s, or higher degree preferred; Associate’s degree and relevant work experience considered.
Must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, or a U.S. Legal Permanent Resident Alien. Or legally residing in a state under one of the following legal residency classifications: refugee, asylum or asylee, temporary protected status or deferred action for childhood arrivals (DACA) status.
Must not be registered, or required to be registered, on a state sex offender registry or the National Sex Offender Registry.
Must not have been convicted of murder, as defined in 18 U.S.C. 1111.
Must be willing to consent to a criminal history check.
