Help increase access to healthcare, quality education, and economic mobility in Upstate South Carolina!

United Way of the Piedmont in Upstate South Carolina is looking for 20 high-impact, results-driven candidates to join our AmeriCorps VISTA year of service program. Join our dynamic team to be part of grassroots change in Spartanburg, Union, and Cherokee Counties increasing access to behavioral healthcare and economic mobility. Responsibilities may include:

Grant writing and fund development
Volunteer recruitment and training
Marketing and communications
Program assessment, development, and implementation
Data collection, research, and analysis
Community outreach and engagement


High school diploma/GED required
Must have valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation throughout the workday


$15,000 living allowance
