AmeriCorps VISTA- Development Coordinator

Catholic Social Services- Columbus

About the organization

For 75 years Catholic Social Services (CSS) has worked to eliminate poverty, improve family relationships, and strengthen our communities. In fact, this year is the 75th anniversary of the agency, and with our celebration comes our development and marketing strategies that are aimed at helping our clients for another 75 years, and more! Part of the marketing involves messaging that explains how donating to CSS (including as little as $7.50 a month) can continue to empower the lives of our clients. This combined with our two main fundraising events (the Spirit of Hope Gala and the Breakfast with the Bishop), will aim to gain more awareness and support for the future.

This person will report to our Director of Development and Communications. The right candidate will have a college degree , be a dynamic and creative professional who is goal-oriented, loves working with and talking to others, and has a passion to drive change for the greater good. They will have an outgoing personality and an optimistic outlook , and they will also have a thirst for knowledge and want to learn everything they can about our mission and clients to help them for the future. Above all, they will want to make a difference in peoples' lives.
