AmeriCorps VISTA- Community Relations Associate
Catholic Charities La Crosse
About the organization
We do great works at Catholic Charities, and we require as much community support as possible. In 2019, we provided almost $450,000 worth of financial aid and helped 900 people in our communities with nights of stay out of the elements. We did this with the assistance of over 900 volunteers. Not only are our programs focused on housing the homeless and assisting community members with rent, utilities, and basic human needs, but we also help other more vulnerable populations. When local disasters hit our communities, we offer assistance with relief and recovery. Our Wausau office is just part of the agency where we serve 19 counties within the Diocese of La Crosse with charitable outreach. You would be joining the effort in inviting others in and educating them on how they can make a difference in our community!
