Texas Health and Human Services has hundreds of programs and services that help more than 7 million Texans a month live better lives, and it’s our strong foundation of dedicated people who make it happen every single day.
•Develop and implement a plan for volunteer recruitment and management
•Reach out to new partners and create a sustainability plan for maintaining partnerships
•Research past and current use of volunteers
•Create volunteer position descriptions and recruitment messaging
•Foster partnerships with community organizations for targeted recruitment
•Recruit and screen volunteers
•Develop a plan for sustainability
•Create a toolkit to be used for community outreach
•Become a Certified Benefits Counselor, Fall Prevention Coach, or Self-Management Health Education Leader
•Be a part of a great team of Aging professionals!
