Gulf Coast JFCS is comprised of over 550 dedicated people committed to improving the lives children and families of all religions and nationalities. The only prerequisite is need. Annually, GCJFCS supports more than 40,000 people throughout Florida. Our programs are designed to protect children from abuse and neglect; to help people overcome substance abuse, to manage mental health, or to gain control of debilitating behaviors; to care for and connect seniors to needed services; to provide emergency financial and food assistance to support Holocaust survivors; and to welcome and help resettle refugees from around the world.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
This is a non- exempt position that will provide direct case adoption related services to all children in an identified placement for adoption. Once the case is approved for termination of parental rights, the Adoption Specialist will be assigned as a secondary worker who will take the case through the adoption process. The responsibility is to work with all agencies and providers to ensure all needed paperwork for the adoption process is completed timely. The specialist will ensure the child/family adoptive needs are met by helping coordinate any adoptive services in partnership with the assigned Case Manager.

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited College or University.
Case Management/Licensing: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
$17.79 per hour
