Duties
Provide support to the accounting team and serve as a backup for AR and AP.
Use accounting software, Sage MAS and other systems, such as Concur, to process accounts payable.
Compare purchase orders, receiving reports, and invoices from vendors to generate a bill in Procurify.
Reconcile credit card payments (Divvy.)
Help with gathering and organizing documents for audits.
Support monthly and year-end closings for any assigned accounting function.
Assist with the maintenance of accounting records, ensuring they are up-to-date and organized.
Support the process of invoice submission to the client and record cash receipts in MAS as required.
Process transactions, make ACH and wire payments, and record wire transfers in MAS as required.
Secondary Job Duties:
Act as a backup for other accounting team members when specifically appointed.
Assist with special projects as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field;
Work experience in an accounting support position preferred;
Understanding of basic accounting principles;
Thorough, accurate, and honest with good bookkeeping skills;
Ability to handle confidential information and maintain confidentiality;
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple demands, prioritize and produce high-quality work under pressure;
Ability to work independently and within teams in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness;
Strong organizational and administrative capabilities;
Attention to detail and follow-up are essential;
Ability to take initiative and exercise good judgment;
Ability to apply a strong customer-focus orientation to understand and resolve issues;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications,
Fluency in English and excellent writing and communications skills
Authorized to work in the U.S.

$43.000 - $50.000
