We take a holistic approach to our work with students, prioritizing social-emotional learning alongside academic achievement. Each tutor on our team knows how to leverage student interests and strengths to facilitate measurable student growth and to support students in achieving their personal learning goals.

Duties

We tutor students in all academic subjects K-12, including English language learners and students with learning differences. We are always looking for educators and content area specialists to provide instruction in the following areas: high-level math (pre-algebra through calculus), high-level science (including AP Chemistry, AP Physics, and AP Biology), computer science, early reading and literacy, high-level writing, SAT/ACT and other test prep, study skills, executive functioning, languages, and more.

Tutor Corps offers:
- $25-50/hour
- A fully remote, part-time position
- Paid professional development and prep time
- Flexible hours between 5 and 25 hours/week
- Dedicated leadership team with 20 years of experience in the field of 1:1 education

Qualifications

- At least 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort with and mastery of Zoom and other online teaching tools
- Teaching credentials preferred but not required

Salary

$25-$50/hour
