About North Country HealthCare AZ

North Country HealthCare is the primary community health center in the area. In 1991, a small group of doctors and nurses, health and human service representatives and consumers worked together to establish the Flagstaff Community Free Clinic. In 1996, the clinic transitioned from a volunteer organization into a state and federally funded community health center. Today, North Country HealthCare serves 11 communities across Northern Arizona, providing quality, evidence based, medical care to all while building healthier communities. Why does North Country exist? To provide affordable, accessible, quality primary care in an atmosphere of dignity and respect where the health and well-being of patients and community are promoted through direct services, education, outreach, and advocacy.


North Country HealthCare is transforming healthcare for rural Arizona as a Primary Care, Federally Qualified Teaching Health Center. We provide Primary Care, Dental, Physical Therapy and Behavioral Health services to the under-served population across 12 communities in Northern Arizona. We believe in practicing integrative care in an innovative culture. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Providing general diagnostic x-ray imaging of urgent care, primary care and x-ray walk-in patient. Using radiation safety practices in regards to patients, staff and technologists. Provides a professional, safe, compassionate environment for patients. Where they receive appropriate care utilizing technical expertise. Prepares and utilizes all general radiographic equipment. Oversees repair and maintenance of radiology equipment. Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement programs, safety, environmental. Monitors and ensures accuracy of medical records as it relates to the radiology department patients, to include department reports, charges, order entry, supplies. Safely and effectively obtains blood / urine samples. Performs urine drug screens and alcohol breath testing using approved federal guidelines. In house laboratory services and equipment. Required to Multi-task in order to promote efficient completion of x-ray / lab exams. Accurately inputs patient information in Electronic Medical Record.


REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Graduation from accredited school of Radiologic Technology. ARRT Board Certification, MRTBE state license in Medical Radiology. Laboratory experience preferred but willing to train if necessary. PAY RATE $30-36/hr DOE North Country Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer and VEVRAA Federal Contractor.
