Program Specialist

Working under the supervision of the Director of Programming and Training (DPT), the Program Specialist (PS) will be responsible for the main areas of Monitoring, Reporting and Evaluation (MRE); Small Grants; and Program Support.

Collaborating with Program Managers and Peace Corps Volunteers, the PS will be responsible for the collection, analysis and dissemination of data which guides and supports the Peace Corps program in North Macedonia. The PS will be responsible for programmatic management of Peace Corps’ Small Grants program. This includes serving as the liaison with Peace Corps Headquarters and USAID, managing the Volunteer Small Grants Board, and developing policies and procedural guidelines.

The PS will be responsible for supporting site identification and development in collaboration with Program Managers and Regional Managers. The PS will support Peace Corps efforts in the areas of inclusive education, TEFL and community development. The PS will need to be able to maintain electronic files and databases with close attention to detail; the PS will be assigned special projects and other duties.

This position requires occasional travel. The PS performs duties during a 40-hour work-week; however occasional work on evenings, weekends, and/or holidays may be required.
