During their service in Mozambique, volunteers learn to speak local languages, including Portuguese, Cichangana, Citswa, Chimanyika, Citewe, Cinyungue, Cicopi, , Emakwa, Elomwe, Ekoti, Ciyao, Chichewa, Chinmanyika, Echuabo and Gitonga.
