Historically, only Mother's Day is celebrated in Malawi; this is largely due to wide-spread assumptions that mothers are the more involved parent in their children's lives. Our "Dads and Daughters" video shows that Malawian fathers also have a very important role to play as parents, and many of them are willing to encourage and support their girls.
