Peace Corps Kyrgyz Republic celebrated Peace Corps Week with a webinar showing off the life-changing connections forged by Volunteers and staff through 30 years of service in the Kyrgyz Republic. To highlight the many ways Peace Corps builds lasting relationships and mutual understanding in Kyrgyzstan and the United States, Post invited PCVs, RPCVs, CPs, and host family members. 20 panelists shared how Peace Corps made a positive impact on their life and career and connected them to Kyrgyzstani people. The webinar was a fun way to reinforce the “call to action” to potential applicants, who witnessed live testimonials about how Volunteers have made -- and are making -- a difference. By all accounts the webinar fulfilled its advertised caption/promise to participants:“You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll want to join us!”
