Positions Available (Open to Kyrgyzstan Nationals only)
Peace Corps/Kyrgyz Republic seeks to fill several positions to help conduct a training program for a new group of Peace Corps Volunteers in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Terms of work: May – August 2023
- Language and Cross-Cultural Facilitators
Qualifications:
Minimum:
Education: University degree, equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree, in teaching foreign or local languages
Experience: Teaching local/foreign language experience
Language: Fluent in English and Kyrgyz
Skills & Abilities:
- Facilitation and training skills
- Strong communicative teaching methods
- Technical and Cross-Cultural Facilitators for TEFL Project (Teaching English as a Foreign Language)
Qualifications:
Minimum:
Education: B.A. or University degree in Teaching English
Experience: Teaching experience in English teaching field
Language: Fluent in English and Kyrgyz
Skills & Abilities:
- Curriculum development and lesson planning skills
- Facilitation and training skills
- Experience in organizing training events
The individual will be required to follow any workplace health and/or safety rules indicated for their position specified in a Peace Corps policy/policies – including complying with any medical and/or training requirements the policy/policies specify.
