Peace Corps Guyana is looking for an energetic, creative and dynamic leader to head its Environment project. The Peace Corps is a United States Agency dedicated to world peace and friendship. Each year, approximately 25 Peace Corps Environment Volunteers work and live in communities across Guyana, supporting the teaching of science, growing youth environmental leadership and working with youth and adults to address local environmental issues.

The Program Manager for Environment is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating the Environment project, as well as identifying work sites and counterparts in schools and communities, developing Volunteer job assignments, conducting site visits and providing technical, administrative and personal support to Volunteers throughout 27 months of service. The Program Manager also collaborates with colleagues to identify placements and offer support for Peace Corps Response Volunteers through 12 months of service.
