Education Careers through Global Competence & Service

Through a facilitated panel discussion, this event will provide insight into the importance of global competence, experience, and service to a variety of educational careers. Participants will connect virtually with Peace Corps Director Dr. Jody Olsen, returned Peace Corps Volunteers, education leaders, policy makers, and the National Teacher of the Year Mandy Manning to learn firsthand about their international experiences, and how service influenced their career paths. Participants will consider the skills necessary to develop their own global competence and apply it to their own educational environments, service, and careers.
