Celebrate World Thinking Day at Peace Corps

Peace Corps is proud to host a special World Thinking Day event for Girl Scouts in the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia metropolitan area. This event will feature an opportunity for participants to meet and hear from Returned Peace Corps Volunteers about the impact of their service within their communities and how they have continued serving others here at home.

This is an in-person event open to Girl Scout troops and Girl Scout participants within the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia metropolitan area. Each participant under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by a parent or chaperone to attend this event.

If you represent a Girl Scout troop outside the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area and would still like to participate in World Thinking Day events, please consider inviting Returned Peace Corps Volunteer to come and speak to your troop about their country of service through our Speakers Match program or using our World Thinking Day resources.
