World Thinking Day

Every year on February 22, Girl Guides and Girl Scouts around the world participate in globally themed activities honoring girls to acknowledge they are a part of a worldwide movement.

Here are some ways Peace Corps’ Global Connections program can support your World Thinking Day programming and activities that focus on this year's theme.

  • Invite a returned Peace Corps Volunteer to speak to your troop. The Global Connections program will help you find speakers in your area who can speak about their countries of service.
  • Connect with current Volunteers through the Global Connections program, which connects U.S. educators, classrooms, and community groups with Volunteers currently serving in the field.
  • Learn more about the impact of the global experience by exploring our collection of stories, activities, and personal essays from around the globe.
