Dill and yogurt sauce over cucumbers.


  • 1 large cucumber (grated)
  • 1 1/2 cups plain yogurt
  • 1 small yellow onion (thinly sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons walnuts (finely chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt


  • Mix cucumber and onion.
  • In a jar, shake together 1/4-1/2 cup water, yogurt, oil, dill, and garlic.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Pour over cucumbers and onions.
  • Garnish with chopped walnuts and serve.
