Sweet and Sour Okra
A tasty okra side or snack.
- 2 cups okra (chopped into small slices with stems removed)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Black pepper
- Sauté okra and olive oil in a pan for 3-5 minutes. Turn each pieces over to cook on each side.
- Add honey, lemon juice, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover and let simmer over low heat for around 15 minutes.
- Serve hot.
