Sweet and Sour Okra

A tasty okra side or snack.


  • 2 cups okra (chopped into small slices with stems removed)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper


  • Sauté okra and olive oil in a pan for 3-5 minutes. Turn each pieces over to cook on each side.
  • Add honey, lemon juice, and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Cover and let simmer over low heat for around 15 minutes.
  • Serve hot.
