Coconut Dumplings

Boiled coconut dumplings.


  • 1/2 cup coconut shavings
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 cup water


  • Mix coconut, flour, 1 teaspoon salt, and oil in a bowl.
  • Gradually stir in water to make dough.
  • Knead for about two minutes.
  • Roll dough out flat on a surface.
  • Cut into small diamond shapes.
  • Bring a large pot of water to boil with a pinch of salt
  • Add dumplings to water and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Serve hot.
