This project is led by Patrick Kounovsky, a Volunteer from Oregon

This grant aims to create a sustainable income-generating activity for a youth empowerment and development group through a broiler chicken business, addressing poverty and economic challenges in the community. The group, consisting of 20 young people, has collaboratively developed a constitution outlining group conduct, accountability, conflict resolution, and administrative responsibilities. They have also crafted a comprehensive business plan detailing the operations and structure of the business, ensuring its long-term success and sustainability.

The grant will provide training in various aspects of business planning and development, with funds allocated to support the establishment of a thriving broiler chicken enterprise. By equipping out-of-school youth with the knowledge and resources needed to launch their own business, this initiative seeks to reduce poverty and enhance economic opportunities for youth in the community.
