Zimbabwe is a landlocked country in the tropics, with mountains, plateaus, and savannah lands. Winter, from May to October, can bring overnight frosts in some areas. Victoria Falls, one of the largest waterfalls in the world, lies on the Zambezi River which divides Zimbabwe and Zambia.
