Return to Water in Africa

Mozambique's topography consists of coastal plain, mountains, and plateaus. Although there are regional variations because of Mozambique's size, the dry season generally runs from April to September. Mozambique's undeveloped road network makes traveling difficult, but contributes to the country's pristine beauty. The beaches of Mozambique are considered to be the best on the east coast of Africa.—Helene Monteil
