STEP FOUR: REPAIRING A WELL The final layers of concrete bricks have been placed and backfill has been added to create a mound around the well. Along with apprentices Shungola and Sidiki, I am cutting, placing, and tying together rebar, which are metal rods to strengthen the concrete that will be laid on top of the mound apprentices.
