Return to Water in Africa

Malawi has beautiful beaches, rolling hills, an elongated plateau, quaint fishing villages, and a 365-mile-long freshwater lake. Because it lies south of the Equator, its seasons are the opposite of those in the Northern Hemisphere. The winter or rainy season occurs from November to May, and summer, or the dry season, takes place from May to November.
