Return to Water in Africa

Mé Julie, 29, waters seedlings. Beet root and carrots are planted together and watered in the morning and evening. Most serious gardeners have water catchment barrels. A lot of gardeners and farmers dig pits to collect water when it rains. In 15 months, I have marked my calendar with 10 days of rain, so I have never seen the pits full, but I have seen the barrels full.
