Return to Water in Africa

Kojo (whose name means Monday-born) is crossing a small stream to a nearby village. This stream is the traditional source of water (for drinking and bathing) for the village. Boreholes are now in the village for safe drinking water and to prevent diseases caused by drinking river water.
